Justin Shine Detailing (“we”, “us”, “our”) stands behind the quality of our workmanship. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered by our service warranty and how to make a claim.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 7-day workmanship warranty on all detailing services, starting from the date the service is completed.
This warranty covers:

Issues directly related to our workmanship

Services not performed as agreed at the time of booking

If a covered issue arises, we will, at our discretion:

Re-perform the affected service, or
-
Provide a partial or full refund for the affected portion of the service
2. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear after service completion

Environmental exposure (rain, sun, dust, pollen, bird droppings, tree sap, salt air, etc.)

Damage caused by automatic car washes, improper washing, or harsh chemicals
-
Pre-existing damage, defects, stains, scratches, paint failure, or interior wear

Mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing faults
-
Odors, stains, or damage that return due to continued use
-
Services affected by customer-supplied products or instructions
3. Paint Protection, Sealants & Coatings
Any waxes, sealants, or protective products applied are subject to:

Proper aftercare and maintenance

Environmental conditions
-
Driving habits and storage conditions
Estimated durability times are guidelines only and are not guaranteed.
We do not warrant:

Exact longevity of protective products
-
Resistance to damage, scratches, or staining
4. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

Inspect the vehicle at completion of service where possible

Notify us of any issues within 7 days of service

Follow any aftercare advice provided

Avoid washing or exposing the vehicle to harsh conditions immediately after service, where advised

Failure to meet these requirements may void the warranty.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please contact us within 7 days of the service date and provide:

Your name and booking details

A description of the issue

Clear photos where applicable

6. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your rights under law.
